Job Description
Kanerika is seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) Intern to join our sales team. This paid role offers a competitive hourly wage. The primary responsibility will be to process leads generated through webinars and other marketing efforts, reach out to prospects via phone and LinkedIn, and set meetings for our sales executives. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, persistent, and possesses excellent communication skills with a passion for engaging with people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Management: Qualify and process inbound leads generated by marketing initiatives such as webinars, digital campaigns, and other outreach efforts.
- Outreach Activities: Contact prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to introduce Kanerika’s solutions, share case studies, and highlight differentiators.
- Discovery Conversations: Engage prospects to understand their basic pain points and align our solutions to their needs.
- Meeting Setting: Coordinate and schedule meetings with qualified leads for the sales team.
- Follow-up: Maintain persistent yet professional communication with prospects to move them through the sales funnel.
- CRM Management: Accurately update and manage information in the CRM to ensure effective lead tracking.
Qualifications
Educational Background
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or a related field.
Skills & Experience
- Strong interest in sales, business development, and lead generation.
- Tech-savvy, especially with B2B technologies and services, including AI, data analytics, and automation.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and AI-based sales automation tools is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Gutsy, self-motivated, and not afraid of rejection—persistent and resilient in outreach efforts.
- Fast learner with a knack for understanding new tools and technologies quickly.
