Position: Fitness Center Attendant/Customer Service  

Location: Irvine, CA

Our 125,000 square foot facility on the Samueli Jewish Campus is a bustling hub of activity, offering state-of-the-art fitness and aquatics centers, cultural arts programs, youth and family activities, and much more. • Basic computer skills

Job Requirements:

• Ideally one year of experience in a customer-centric environment
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and spend the majority of the shift on your feet
• Ability to maintain fitness center cleanliness and organization to standards
• Light administrative work and coverage at the fitness desk as needed
• Preferred AED/First Aid/CPR certification or training will be provided
• Reliable transportation 
• Basic knowledge of fitness equipment is helpful
• Must complete a live scan background screening

Duties Include:

• Interacting with members and guests throughout your shift
• Building rapport with members
• Managing fitness center protocols
• Constantly circulating throughout the facility
• Cooperating with other departments and staff as needed
• Organizing and stocking fitness center supplies

Schedule and Compensation: 

• Part Time Shift: 15-20 hours per week -flexibility to cover open shifts as needed
• Available to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Hourly/Non-Exempt Position
• Starting Pay: $16.50/hour 
• 90 Day probationary period

 Required Education:

• High school or equivalent
