Position:  Elementary Special Education Teacher – Resource Room

Reports to:  Building Principal

Position Available:  25/26 Academic Year

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE; OR

Bachelor’s Degree and enrollment in a state approved program leading to teacher certification as required by MDE.

Preferred:

Previous classroom teaching experience in a comparable district.

Learning Disability (SM), Autism (SV), Cognitive Impairment (SA), Early Childhood (ZS) endorsement

Salary/Benefits:

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule.  Full-time with benefit package.  Starting range $51,814.00-$75,437.00.
