About the Role

We’re looking for a full stack developer who is a great teammate, thinks beyond the immediate problem, and is highly productive.

You'll work from concept through implementation and maintenance, delivering robust code, building intuitive UIs, designing scalable APIs, and using LLMs to deliver value at the intersection of law and medicine. Your work will contribute directly to improving the handling of our customers’ Workers’ Comp claims.

 

Responsibilities

· Work with our dev team over the full lifecycle using Svelte, Node.js, PostgreSQL on Supabase, and modern devops tools.

· Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and code reviews

· Collaborate with customers and domain experts to develop capabilities that deliver real value to our customers and the business

· Contribute to our CI/CD workflows and automated testing tools

· Develop with privacy and security in mind including HIPAA and SOC2 compliance.

· Use GitHub for version control, code collaboration, peer reviews, and automation

· Learn! We work at the intersection of AI, Medical, and Legal fields. There is a great deal to absorb, and nobody is an expert in everything.

 

Requirements

· 5+ years of professional experience as a full stack developer. PostgreSQL (Supabase), Svelte, Node.js, and Redis experience preferred.

· Fluent in written and spoken English

· Located in an Americas time zone (GMT-3 to GMT-8)

· Ability to evaluate design options for scalability, security, flexibility, and fit to the problem to solve.

· Willingness to discuss options and consider others’ points of view openly. Evidence guided.

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

· Experience delivering code that is robust, flexible, and scalable, with test and deployment automation

· Database and middleware design experience including schema design and query optimization

· Experience using an AI-powered coding tool as a force multiplier, not as a replacement for critical thinking

· Experience with LLM application development and performance/quality tuning

· Experience deploying to and managing cloud infrastructure

· Fluent using GitHub for team workflows

 

Extra Credit

· Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into a B2B app where accuracy matters

· Professional experience in healthcare or legal tech industries

· Experience with HIPAA and SOC2

 

What We Offer

· Cadence takes a market-based approach to pay, and the base salary range for this role is $130,400 to $165,000, based on experience. Please note that ranges may be modified at any time, and there is no guarantee offers will be at the top of a posted range.
