Inside Sales Representative

Paystreams is a boutique credit card payment processor.  We help businesses accept credit card payments.  We are looking for a Sales Representative in the Orange County area. The perfect candidate would be someone who is confident and outgoing.  Someone who doesn’t shy away from rejection and has good common sense. This is an onsite position and you’re expected to come into the office 5 days a week.

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identifying potential clients (retail stores, restaurants, e-commerce) through cold outreach and working leads obtained through in house marketing channels.

Sales Consultation and Presentations:

  • Analyzing a prospect's current processing statements to identify savings opportunities.
  • Educating business owners on payment processing, including hardware (POS terminals) and software solutions.
  • Presenting tailored, value-focused proposals that meet specific business needs.

Negotiation and Closing:

  • Negotiating pricing, contract terms, and fees with merchants.
  • Overcoming objections and closing new accounts.
  • Completing and submitting onboarding paperwork and merchant agreements.

Performance Metrics:

  • Meeting or exceeding weekly/monthly sales goals, such as the number of new accounts or processed volume. 

Key Qualifications

  • 4 Year college degree, recent college graduates welcome.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex technical solutions simply.
  • Persistence: High tolerance for rejection due to the high-volume nature of cold calling.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of merchant services, PCI compliance, and different payment methods.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage a personal territory.

Compensation

  • $20 - $25 per hour and commissions
  • Health insurance, PTO, and 401k
