Campground Security Officer
Security staff ensures a safe environment of the campground. This includes safeguarding our property, guests and staff. The impression created by Security is crucial to the safety and success of the Campground. Therefore, it is essential that Security be calm and level headed under pressure when issues or emergencies arise.
The Campground encourages all staff to strive for an environment that promotes creativity, teamwork, respect and consideration for one another. We will foster an environment that builds teamwork and challenges one another to perform exceptionally.
- Protect the campgrounds property, campers and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Regularly patrol all campground buildings after hours and ensure buildings are secure
- Conduct evening propane readings
- Fill propane
- Escort campers to sites
- Circulate among the campground to monitor any unusual behavior
- Observe for signs of disorder and investigate any disturbances
- Warn guests of rule infractions
- Provide a high level of security by being proactive, alert and responsive during difficult situations or when emergencies arise
- Maintain a calm and reasonable approach with ability to use logic
- Contact police, fire department or ambulance in cases of emergency such as intruders, fire, medical distress, etc.
- Answer incoming calls after hours
